Jungo Disposal Site

Summary

Jungo Land & Investments, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Recology, is proposing the construction and operation of a Class I Municipal Solid Waste Disposal Site. The Jungo Disposal Site is located approximately 30 miles west of Winnemucca, Nevada, along the south side of Jungo Road and adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad. The site will serve as a regional disposal site for Northern California and, if requested, Humboldt County, Nevada. Refuse will be delivered to the site by rail, up to an estimated rate of 4,000 tons per day.
